Two steps down you enter the sunken floor area of the living room and dinning table. Surrounding the space are ceiling high glass paned windows and double doors looking out over the garden and a pond. An open staircase leads to the second floor which opens up to a gallery area. Off from this area through antique carved wood doors is the safari room guest bedroom with a lions face fire place, library, bath and shower. Off this room through double doors is a private part of the second floor patio over looking the garden. Next to this room is the studio, both of these rooms are well lit with sky lights, leaving the studio through to more hand carved antique double carved door back out into the gallery area. On the other side of the staircase two more hand carved double doors to the master bedroom which is as large as the entire first floor living area. On entering the master bedroom is a fireplace just to the left in front of which is a living room area. Two long mahogany hand carved posts guard the master bed and just off this room is the master bath with fireplace, Jacuzzi bath, bidet and toilet. Beside the bed are double doors that lead out to a balcony overlooking the garden and lily pond. On the other side of this room are 2 double mahogany doors to a large walk in closet where inside is a staircase leading up to the 2 story tower. Just to the right off this closet are two more glass paned doors leading out to the second floor patio with the avocado tree coming up through the floor and shading most of the area.
The master bedroom floor is done in part with parquet and in part with Italian porcelain. The entire house flooring is Italian porcelain.
South of the house walking down stone covered trails through lush tropical flora and trees at one side is a traditional pila (raised pond) and fountain. A little further is a large vegetable garden area, all surrounded by a large rubber tree. A bit further is an open lawn area with fruit trees and a walled garden going back toward the house past the raised garden pad and the lily pond with sitting and dining area.
Just past the pond is the Italian pool with the columns and Italian tiles, the back wall decorated in Matisse style murals and the pool itself in a kind of Cockney style and a grand piano in the center.
